We create gifts for people with great taste. Combining our love of gift giving with our obsession with British food. We carefully pack tried and tested, quality British products to make gifts memorable.
We’re passionate about people. We provide a personalised service making for a seamless gifting experience.
We make conscious choices. When it comes to the contents of our gifts, we stick to what we know best, British. We can impact real people through considered gifting, supporting craftsmanship and creativity in our local communities.
In short, we’re on a mission to make hampers cool again.
what we do
our
story
2020A whim turned into a win.
We’re all set with a diary full on seasonal catering bookings. The pandemic hit the UK and we we’re forced to cancel our bookings and abort all plans. By October we we’re jobless, deflated but determined. On a whim, we contacted some of our favourite suppliers and created two Christmas hampers showcasing the best of British produce. A surprise feature in British Vogue lead us to sell out in a matter of weeks.
2021 A plan with no action.
We start the year with a plan to expand our business, determined to focus our time on Corporate gifting and our Christmas Hampers. With the ever rising costs, and sudden boom in catering jobs we let the gifting take a back seat in order prioritise keeping the business a-float, a priority now that we are both working for ourselves full-time.
2022 Reality check.
Another successful Christmas leaves us with more passion than ever to continue our journey in the gifting world. Finding and meeting suppliers and the realisation of the impact our business could make on actual people, is all the motivation we need. If only it was plain and simple. Yet more rising costs paired with the chaos of postal strikes, we we’re left out of pocket and deflated.
2023 A plan with action.
Re-branded from our previous name of Flourish and Rye, newly assigned job roles, plan of action and most importantly equipped with the same passion we started with in 2020. The year we took on lots of new clients, who most importantly get what we are all about. It was definitely a challenging year in many ways, but ultimately we saw our biggest growth yet.
2024 Getting out there.
We said goodbye (for now) to our beautiful B2C hampers. The time has come to put all of our energy into wicker’s corporate gifting as it was already beginning to take over. A decision we did not take lightly but one that was needed for our business security. A mission begins to make corporate gifting cool again.
2025 Not just for Christmas.
Now fully emerged in the world of corporate gifting life. We spend most of our days working alongside our clients, creating meaningful milestone gifts for employees. Yes, that’s us creating hampers that are not just for Christmas. A new one for us and a bit of a milestone too! Though Christmas gifts are still our main event.
2026 Thinking outside the box.
We know we have clients out there that are the perfect fit for wicker, and we’re on a mission to introduce ourselves.
